It was the morning of my seventh triathlon and I was a ball of nerves and excitement! I was actually looking forward to tackling the Max Performance Title 9 Women Only Sprint Triathlon.
Not only would I be racing, but I would be there to support three of my Weight Watchers members, as well as, a fellow WW leader and friend. They would all be doing their first triathlon. YES!! Well that was a start, but there was the small detail of a training plan that needed to be addressed. I haven't followed a really structured training plan in a couple of years. Outside of my long runs that were set by Tedy's Team for the past couple of Boston Marathons. Now I am not recommending this plan to folks - haha - it's just what ended up transpiring in my life. I was kind of winging the weekday workouts, which didn't really bring me the results I wanted. Shocking I know. ;)

2015 marked the third year of the Race To The Row 5k at Assembly Row in Somerville and the third different course. Haha. There has been a lot of change to the area (improvements) so the course had to adjust as well.Read More
