Hi! I've Missed You All...

Nothing like sitting down to write a post and then realize there are only 15 minutes until the daily blast email goes out. I have so much to tell you folks and am at the point where I don't know where to start.

Do you ever get that way?

I started a new job yesterday (Oct 5). There is a LOT of info to take in, but I am loving the new challenge.

These first two weeks will be an adjustment as I am traveling for races so I won't have a full work week until the week of October 19. I am lucky that Pega was willing to work with the running schedule I had already set before getting this opportunity!

Tomorrow marks one month until the Rock 'n' Roll Savannah Full Marathon. Marathon #9 in my career. Which is still freakin' CRAZY! I remember saying NO MORE after #1 in September 2006.

NOW? I'm shocked that I have zero - yes zero - marathons on the schedule for 2016. Oh you know that will change. I'm just thrown off since I've run 3 marathons in both 2014 and 2015.

Pressing things I want to share with you:

1) I donated 8 inches of hair to Children With Hair Loss. They don't charge their clients. They accept dyed hair. Their minimum is 8 inches.

Boy did it feel good to finally chop off all that weight! And to know that it is going to a good home. :)

2) I am 18 days away from my run streak (#WOMSStreak) hitting the 1-year mark. How will I celebrate?

Well according to the training plan, I will celebrate with a 12-miler! HOLLAH! Wanna join?

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

3) Saturday marked the first 20-miler I did solo in I can't tell you how long. Ages for sure!

It was a HUGE mental test... but I passed! :) My pace was better than I expected and I really felt like I had some extra stuff in the tank!

4) DON'T FORGET!! Enter my #EssentiaMoments Challenge! There is a sweet price pack on the line. PLUS you improve your hydration along the way!

Phew! Made it under the wire. But really I am working on an actual blogging schedule so I can keep you all - and myself - up to speed on all things Weight Off My Shoulders!

So tell me... what's up with you?
