My Latest Podcast Obsessions

I know I know. I am late to the podcast party! But I am here now and I am loving it.

While I have already caught up and am a loyal listener to:

  • You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes
  • Anna Faris is Unqualified
  • Hollywood Babble-On
  • Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!
  • The Nerdist

I have three new podcasts that have joined the rotation... check 'em out!

1) The 300 Pounds and Running Podcast

You all know my boy Martinus from 300 Pounds and Running. He has a podcast and he is CRUSHING it. I was lucky enough to be the first guest on the podcast.

If you are looking for motivation to start your own weight loss or running journey, check out the podcast for the inspiration to take the first step!

2) Missing Richard Simmons

I blew through the first four episodes in a morning and I cannot wait for the next one to come out.

On February 15, 2014, fitness guru Richard Simmons disappeared. He stopped teaching his regular exercise class at Slimmons, cut off his closest friends, and removed himself from the public eye after decades as one of the most accessible celebrities in the world. Nobody has heard from him - and no one knows why he left. Filmmaker Dan Taberski was a Slimmons regular and a friend of Richard’s. Missing Richard Simmons is Dan’s search for Richard - and the deeper he digs, the stranger it gets.

3) The Mortified Podcast

OMG! Every episode I have listened to I have caught myself laughing out loud. It really makes you think about what you would share if you looked back on your own journals from high school.... EEK! ;)

Witness adults sharing their most embarrassing childhood artifacts (journals, letters, poems, lyrics, plays, home movies, art) with others, in order to reveal stories about their lives. Hear grown men and women confront their past with tales of their first kiss, first puff, worst prom, fights with mom, life at bible camp, worst hand job, best mall job, and reasons they deserved to marry Jon Bon Jovi.

Have you checked out any of these podcasts? Any suggestions on what I should listen to next?
