I am currently riding a serious high from this morning's Biggest Loser Half in Killington, Vermont.
Somehow I finished the half as the 4th female overall and 1st in my age division.
I'm trying my hardest NOT to diminish my accomplishment and soak in what happened. Being proud of myself is something that I really need to work on. I usually get proud then start making excuses for how it happened. Do you know what I mean?
But more on the race itself in the recap...
At the race I had the honor of meeting Matt Hooper (Season 15) and Dan Evans (Season 5). Wicked cool.
These guys were super down to earth and as nice as they appear on TV/in interviews. Which I always love to see.
It was cool to chat with other weight-loss success stories who look to inspire and motivate others to start their own healthy lifestyle or fitness journeys.
While we drove home I started thinking about next steps for the blog. Yes I had a lot of time to think during the almost 3 hour drive home.
